Today had to be almost the perfect motorcycle day. The sky was clear
and the temperature ranged between 70 and 80 all day - mostly right
around 75. We decided we didn't want ot get right back on I-94 so we
started out on Route 12 again as far as Bowman, ND then headed north on
Route 85 to pick up I-94 again. The traffic was extremey light on 12
and not much heavier on 85 although we did see a number of motorcycles
on 85 probably as many as we have seen on the trip so far - all headed
south. We assume this may have had something to do with the
holiday weekend.
We
decided to stop for lunch at the first rest area on I-94, unfortunatey
the first one wasn't for 70 miles or so. We did stop for a late lunch
and then headed back out and finally arrived at Mike and Karin's a
little before 4:00. It was great to see them and we are looking forward
to spending the weekend with them.
