NLBM 2022 - Day 02
This morning we took one of our favorite rides - US Route 12 from
Lewiston, ID to Lolo Pass. The weather was perfect. The temperature
ranged from around 70 to around 80 with most of the morning right
around 75. The sky was clear for the most part except for one stretch
that was very smokey but it didn't really last that long and we saw no
other evidence of recent fires. The traffic was light and we arrived at
the pass around noon.
After that it was on to Missoula for
lunch and a gas stop and then I-90 to Butte for the evening.
That ride was much warmer and not nearly as enjoyable.
We
stayed at a Ramada Inn in Butte and were very disappointed. When we
checked in around 5:30 they told us they had no WiFi and it had been
down for over a week. It was definitely down last night when we made
the reservation and they should have told us then. By then it was a
little late to go searching for another room and we thought we could
get by using the 5G and/or LTE on our phones and maybe even use the
hotspot feature to use our computer. Unfortunately even that signal was
so flakey as to be totally unreliable. I was able to create the web
page but will have to wait until tomorrow night to upload it. I think a complaint to Ramada is in order.
