NLBM 2022 - Day 01
Well the first day of another trip is in the books. It was quite hot on
the other side of the mountains - topped 100+ quite a bit but we
survived although are a little wiped out.
We took the normal route, I-405 to I-90 but after we crossed the
Columbia River at Vantage, we turned south and followed the Palouse
Scenic Byway from Washtucna to Lewiston. The traffic was very
light but we probably would have enjoyed it more if it was a little
cooler. The Palouse is apparently the top wheat producing county and
the second highest barley producer in the entire United States.Find

It's alwayd good to get the first day out of the way. Tomorrow we take
Route 12 to Lolo Pass - a ride we always look forward to.
