Sturgis 2021 - Day 09
Today was another day of riding and sightseeing. We started with a ride throug Spearfish Canyon and then people watching in Deadwood where we had a great lunch in a local deli. Finally we took in the Full Throttle Saloon
which is billed as the worlds largest biker bar. The original bar
burned down several years ago and the rebuilt several miles out of town
where they had lots of room - and they made good use of it. The saloon
was very large and there was a huge parking lot as well as vendors,
booths, etc.
In the afternoon one of Jason's friends from
high school who now lives in Boulder showed up. We have known Beau for
many years and it was great to see him again and catch up. He was with
his girlfriend Tammy. It was the first time we met her and we enjoyed
meeting her.
We all went back into town in the evening to
find some dinner and walk around where we visited the Iron Horse Saloon
and witnessed one of the many body painting sessions available in town.
