While yesterday was quite warm, today was cold. The low temperature yesterday was 74 while the low today was 54 - big dfference. It was also pretty foggy on and off. You could barely see haystack Rock.

Because we were worried about being pressed for time and were also cold, we didn't stop quite as many places as we had hoped. We did stop at Canon Beach to see Haystack Rock which is an iconic Oregon Coast landmark. We stopped at Devil's Churn but somehow missed Thor's Well. We also stopped at numerous pull outs along the way to appreciate the amazing Oregon shore line.

We arrived in Bandon around 4:00 PM and spent some time walking around Old Town Bandon as well as watching the folks crabbing along the public dock.

Although we planned to continue down the coast to the Redwoods tomorrow, it looks like the temperatures will be even colder than today so we are planning to wimp out and head inland for I-5 and then head south to Red Bluff - our next stop. We have convinced ourselves that we have been to the Redwoods before, the main purpose of our trip is actually to visit Yosemite, and we can visit Sequoia after Yosemite if we have time.
