When we left Jerome, we traveled along I84 to Meridian where we picked up route 55 heading north through western Idaho.  After a short time with heavy traffic, the road improved drastically and the ride to New meadows was excellent - curvy roads, great scenery, and light traffic.  From there we picked up 95 and, although there were some excellent sections where we passed by the Hell's Canyon National Recreation Area, much of the road was straight and not nearly as interesting.

Once we reached Lewiston, we picked up route 195 through the Palouse that took us to Pullman.  Neither of us had been to Pullman before and it seemed like nice town.  We assumed that there would be many places to stay and it seems that we were correct.  We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and had a nice evening.  It ended up being a long day but a nice ride overall.
