Bismarck 2024 Day03
Today started out a little brisk. It was around 55 when we left but, by
the time we made our first gas stop, it had warmed up significantly. As
I mentioned yesterday, we were on Interstates all day - first I90 and
then I94.
The
only real thing of interest was a car that had gone off the side of the
road. There was a significant law enforcement response but it didn't
appear there were any injuries. We had a little bit of rain just as we
approached Miles City but not enough to bother us.
It's
amazing how many restaurants and hotels we recognize from previous
trips. We ate at a restaurant named Gallagher's tonight and Linda could
vividly remember eating ether in the past. She could even remember what
table we sat at.
Tomorrow it's off to Mandan to visit Mike and Karin and a rest from the bike for a few days.
