Well we successfully completed our first day. We didn't get started
until around 10:30 because Linda had an errand she had to run. It
really didn't make much difference because we were only going to a
little East of Spokane which was around 320 miles - a relatively short
day. The weather was good and the traffic, for the most part, was
relatively light on I-90 - probably as a result of leaving on a
week day.
We
ran into a small brush fire along the side of the road but, although
there was some smoke, the fire fighters seemed to have everything in
complete control. That was the only real interesting thing on the ride
today.
However I had a senior moment trying to get the map
to show up on the web page that took me way longer to figure out than
it should. At least I should remember the issue for the rest of the
trip and now I'll be able to sleep tonight.
Tomorrow it's on to Bozeman and we lose our first hour.
