White Sands 2024 Day10
Not much to say about today's ride. There was a 20 mile stretch
of US 20 early on this morning that was interesting. Then we were on
I-15 and I-84 for the rest of the day. We have ridden this stretch
numerous times, including just last week on our way down to White Sands
and it doesn't get any better. The ugly part of this ride is from
approaching Provo until clearing Salt Lake City. It seemed to help that
basically summer is over so the remainder of the route was pretty wide
open.
Tomorrow we head for Baker City, OR pretty much on
I-84 all day. The only real congestion will be in Boise but it's not a
very long stretch. We're definitely in the getting home mode. If all
goes well, we should be arriving home late Thursday afternoon.
