This is going to be short tonight.
We started out
with a trip to the viewing station around 9:00 AM and didn't see any
bears but we didn't expect to either. Then we drove the road to the
Salmon Glacier. The road was worse than we thought it was going to be
and, after viewing the glacier, we decided it probably wasn't worth the
ride. Fortunately nothing seems to have fallen off the bike.
We
stopped at the viewing station at around noon and saw 2 more black
bears, one in the creek and one on the road. We went back to the
viewing station one last time at 5:30 this evening and saw one black
bear on the road and 2 more grizzlys in the creek. Linda got some great
video of the grizzlys but it will have to wait until we get home to
upload it.
Toworrow we turn around and head back home having far exceeded our expectations.
When we get home I'll add a separate page with all of the bear pictures and videos.
